Steve grew up as the poorest kid in a lower middle class neighborhood in Dallas. He would come home from school to make his own dinner and change his younger sister’s diapers, so duty was instilled in him at a young age. The time he spent in the Army's 82nd Airborne Division ingrained discipline, work ethic, and a sense of honor. After receiving his Bachelors' University degree in 2013, he worked in title insurance for two years and then as a loan originator for three, but always had an entrepreneurial spirit and ideas about real estate investing. One day, he said, “I’ll start my own company and bring my ideas to my own clients.”
